My process speaks for itself.

Success Highlights and Testimonials

When I coached students one-on-one through the college application process, I guided students through a 4 phase process of self-discovery, self-actualization, self-reflection, and storytelling. I help students tell their A++ stories (assets, achievements, and aspirations) in order to submit powerful applications that set them apart from other applicants. It’s never just the content of what they write but what the admissions counselors can read between the lines.

I’m still humbled by the success of my students. You may think that I screened students for the highest GPA or the highest SAT score, but I don’t screen clients based on academic performance. My students include students who struggled to achieve a 1000 on the SAT and solid B students - I know that there are amazing colleges out there who do education differently than your teen’s high school.

For my one-on-one coaching students, their hard work pays off:

  • 100% of my one-on-one coaching students were admitted into their top - 1st or 2nd- choice school

  • 100% of my one-on-one coaching students received merit scholarships

  • $1,500-$60,000: Range of Annual Scholarships awarded - per student, per college, per year

  • $8,000-$250,000: Total Annual Scholarships offered - per student, four years

  • 100% of students reported increased self-knowledge & confidence

  • 100% of parents observed positive growth in their teen

  • 100% of parents referred friends to Rachel

While these numbers are a reflection of the guidance my coaching programs provide teens, these numbers equally reflect the hard work, flexibility, and dedication that each teen put into their admission process. Because college admissions and financial aid awards are based on so many variables that shift year to year, I cannot guarantee outcomes for any of my clients.

Testimonials from Teens & Parents

Literally, I’m a better person because of you. You listened to me in a way that adults have never done. I hated that you would never give me the answers. But, now I’m so thankful - I’m so much better because of it.

I miss our group! It was so helpful. I can’t imagine applying to college without this [support].

Wait - we’re done? That felt too easy. Are you sure we aren’t missing something?

Thank you for being a pillar of strength and a guiding light for not only [our child], but for our family during this process.

I thought I knew what to expect because my son was already in college. I should have known that every child is different. Rachel helped empower my daughter in a way that I could never have done as effectively and painlessly!
— Parent
You brought us closer. We didn’t fight. We talked. You were a buffer and an outlet. That, alone, was priceless.
— Parent
There was no way we could’ve done what you did!

We looked at three other college counselors and knew immediately that Rachel was the one. Still, I never imagined that Rachel would help me grow closer with my daughter. That alone, was worth every penny!

Without a doubt, you are a true life-changing mentor!!!
